The concept "liberty" and it's implications has been critizised and analysed a lot in our contemporary time. In this article there are several philosophical and theological arguments presented about why a certain understanding of liberty has to be defended, particularly for women. Some of the first generation of feminists is interpreted in relation to contemporary conservative and Christian ideologies, here represented by Patrick J. Deneen. The article starts with an abstract perspective and ends with an implemented and experienced part of (men's) ways of womens restricted acessability to liberty in practice.
